here is one of the method to get a fast satellite searching, i have tried it with HTC incredible S, HTc Sensation XL , And star S7589 16GB rom, the result is excellent. I should be able to get satellite around 20 seconds ( the first time may take a bit longer)



Note : those people for slow satellie searching, u can try the following:

1 download the attached  "GPS_mod(8NTP).zip"   file
2 copy the file "GPS_mod(8NTP).zip" to yr phone (sdcard or internal sdcard) do not extract the zip file

3 reboot yr phone to recovery, and back up your rom, (in case it is not good for yr system, u can restore)
4 install "GPS_mod(8NTP).zip" as what u normally do to flash a rom  -- But no need to wipe anything

5 then reboot, u are done

tip : when searching for satellite, don't  hold the phone stay still, move yr phone left to right, right to left,until it pick the satellite,  it will pick up signal more)

for those who are good at root, u can extract the zip file, and copy the file "gps.conf" to the system, before copy, rename yr original gps.config to another name, in case u want to  change back to original gps.conf
